FEEL THE LOVE event

Our board of directors (from right to left: Alan, CC, Bob, Connie, Susan) and Greta send out a heartfelt thank you to our community! From our volunteers who showed up to help our animals be in the spotlight, Robin who led our glass painting activity and raffle saleswoman extraordinaire, Liz who created our gorgeous Valentines for Veterans designs, everyone who played a little role in helping, all who did big things to make it happen, and everyone who donated baked goods, and of course John and Marianne who gave us the T or C Brewery venue, we appreciate all the support!

And our wonderful community members who bought raffle tickets, made valentines for our local veterans, and who donated to our mission and cause. We felt the love today! Thank you 🐾💕

Clothing for a Cause Recap

Thank you to all of our volunteer helpers for puppy and kitty wrangling at this super successful event! Clothing for a Cause was a lot of fun and jam-packed with people shopping, snuggling, and mingling.

We are grateful to every dollar donated by Marlena and so thankful for all of the incredible support shown by our community to rescued animals.

Cheers to Truth or Consequences Brewery for the fab venue, to Marlena Benjamin for the cool vibe, and to Susette, CC, and Connie for volunteering to manage the Desert Haven table and to help showcase our darlings. What a great community we live in!

Jingle Bell Treasure Hop

The downtown area was hoppin' with jingle bellers on Saturday morning! 7 teams and 24 total contestants solved riddles and located various shops along Main Street and Broadway as they completed tasks, collected treasures, and bought items at various locations. Both Miss Fiesta and Mr. Fiesta were part of the fun, as was Oliver, our adventurous adopt-a-dog mascot from Desert Haven Animal Rescue for the event. Thanks to our volunteers, Lynda, Andi, and Dave, all of the participants, and the folks who dropped by just to donate! Of course, we couldn't have done it without our generous sponsors and the stops along the way!
